North Bay Wild is North Tampa/Pasco county area Regional competitive lacrosse program. We are so happy to be back this summer, with our program goal to help continue teaching lacrosse to high school players, the correct way.

Our mission is to teach concepts, fundamentals and skills that players can take with them into fall ball and Spring season with confidence that they will be able to help their high school team compete! Our goal is to field at least two high school teams this summer, one developmental team, with focus on fundamentals and learning the sport to be able to compete confidently, the second would be a more experienced team with more in depth concepts and skills that will help grow the players knowledge and skills.

Both team will play in three tournaments, two local, one in Wellington Florida.
Each player upon registration, will receive a three piece uniform(shooter, shorts, reversible) as well as practice pinnie.

2024 Age Bracket:

Special Consideration?

Although it is not recommended that any athlete play below or above his age group, US Lacrosse recognizes the need for special consideration due to the physical and/or cognitive development of an athlete.  It would be up to the league to establish a waiver process through which it can review such cases. Ultimately it is up to the league and athlete’s parents to come to an agreement.

Lacrosse, the fastest-growing team sport in the country, combines some of the best aspects of other sports into one sport, allowing players of all sizes and skill sets the ability to contribute.

The fundamental concepts of men’s and women’s lacrosse are the same – players try to score goals by using a stick, which features a plastic or wooden head with netting at the end, to shoot a ball into the goal. The are various rule differences between men’s and women’s lacrosse which makes each game unique.
